up to what year did the dolls come with white cloth bodies?? I'm trying to find one on ebay and I think I want to enter a year in the search. Is it only the historical dolls that came that way??

i think they made dolls with white bodies up till 91 when felicity was introduced. my molly is from 1990 and has the white body...so you could try any of the years from 86- till 90 or 91.
good luck.

I bought Molly in June '92 and she has a white body. My friend bought Felicity Dec. '93 and she has a flesh-colored body.

I have a white-bodied Samantha and a flesh-bodied Molly, Kirsten and Felicity, all from West Germany, which I think means they were all purchased by 1991 when German production stopped. BTW, Samantha's features are somewhat more delicate than on the subsequent dolls and Felicity looks very different from later Felicitys I've seen in that her hair is a much brighter red while her eyes are less obviously green.

Hmmm... my Molly from December 1992 has a tan body. Perhaps PC shifted in December 1991, but some white bodies were still sold through '92, hence why Sarah would have a white bodied in June of that year. Good luck finding one!
